Professor Cheung Man-Chee Kenneth, Chair Professor, Jessie Ho Professor in Spine Surgery, is appointed as the Hospital Chief Executive of the HKU-Shenzhen Hospital (HKUSZH) with effect from 27 July 2022 for 5 years.

Professor Cheung is internationally renowned for his expertise in spinal surgery, and research on the genetics of intervertebral disc degeneration and scoliosis, stem cell regeneration, and development of novel surgical technologies for treatment of spinal deformities.
