今集個案的主角是只有24歲的淇淇，她自細已經有骨增生的問題，但情況輕微，沒有影響她的日常生活。直至她15歲那年，有一次在泳池戲水，突然左腳不能活動，險些遇溺。原來左腳增生出來的骨勾住了韌帶，令她左腳不能伸直，她後來接受手術將新增的骨切除，回復正常生活。可惜，大約兩年之後，骨增生的問題越來越嚴重，淇淇的背部、頸椎、大腿、手肘等地方都增生了骨，不單影響她的日常活動，她不良於行的步行姿勢更不時惹來途人的歧視目光，令她非常難受。此時骨科醫生建議淇淇做一個詳細的基因檢查。究竟淇淇身體出了什麼問題？
