Overview

As an extended program of the 13th Hong Kong International Orthopaedic Forum organized by the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, The University of Hong Kong, this is the first local symposium where physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals will meet for updates and discussion on current issues related to knee osteoarthritis. The subsequent workshop will involve demonstration and hands on practice of neuromuscular exercises for knee osteoarthritis. Our comprehensive programme will benefit allied health professionals, general practitioners, orthopaedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and many more.

Workshop

The Neuromuscular Exercise in Practice Workshop is a training program intended for physiotherapists to enhance their knowledge on exercise regime for knee osteoarthritis. The workshop will involve 4 stations with emphasis on core stability, dynamic alignment, muscle strength and functional exercises. There will be demonstrations by Professor Ewa Roos and stations with hands on practice.
